Privacy Policy

Account data: your email address, used to create and access your account.

Health data: with your permission, Ascend reads your daily step count and related activity totals (walking distance, active energy, exercise minutes, presence of heart-rate data) from Apple HealthKit. This data is sent to our server solely to calculate step rewards. We never write to HealthKit, never sell health data, and never use it for advertising.

Wallet address: optionally, a Solana public address you provide for future withdrawals. We never ask for or store private keys.

Data is used only to operate the service: crediting step rewards, enforcing daily caps and anti-fraud checks, maintaining your coin ledger, and (in the future) sending withdrawals to the address you provide. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing. No third-party analytics or advertising SDKs run in the app.

You can delete your account in Profile → Delete account. Deletion revokes access, frees your email, and removes your wallet address. Reward-ledger records are retained as financial records for fraud prevention and compliance.

Session tokens are stored hashed; traffic uses HTTPS; reward crediting is validated server-side with rate limits and daily caps.
